DR. KEN ATCHITY (Georgetown B.A., Yale Ph.D.) is a “story merchant” whose companies serve every aspect of the storyteller’s career. As author of 14 books, producer of two dozen films, literary manager, editor, and inspirational speaker, Ken has developed hundreds of books (novels, nonfiction, true stories, and YA) and screenplays that sold to New York publishers and Hollywood studios.

His film productions include “Joe Somebody” (Tim Allen), “Life or Something Like It” (Angelina Jolie), “The Amityville Horror” (NBC), “The Madam’s Family” (CBS); Noire’s “Hittin’ the Bricks.” Films nearing production include “The Kill Martin Club” (Working Title), “Sex in the South” (Lifetime), “The Lost Valentine” (Hallmark Hall of Fame), “DemonKeeper” (Fox 2000), “Three Men Seeking Monsters” (Universal), and “Ripley’s Believe-It-Or-Not!” (Jim Carrey, Paramount).

In his first career Ken was chairman of comparative literature at Occidental College, guest columnist for The Los Angeles Times Book Review, Distinguished Instructor at UCLA’s Writers Program, and Fulbright Professor to the University of Bologna, Italy.
